In this role, you will ensure that high cleaning standards are met consistently, supervise cleaning staff, and report on maintenance and safety concerns. Key Responsibilities:

• Work Schedules & Job Cards: Ensure work schedules and job cards are in place for each position, ensuring they align with site-specific requirements.

• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure consistently high service standards are maintained for all services in scope.

• Staff Appearance: Ensure that all staff are correctly and smartly dressed, wearing a name badge, and emphasize the importance of upholding the company image.

• Cleaning Methodology: Ensure cleaning methods are strictly adhered to, in line with company policies, quality programs, and legislation.

• Asset Management: Perform monthly spot checks on high-value items, ensuring that cleaning equipment is kept in good condition and serviced when required.

• Daily Checks & Follow-ups: Conduct daily checks and follow-ups to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

• Maintenance & Safety Reporting: Report maintenance and safety concerns to the manager on a day-to-day basis to maintain a safe working environment.

• Health & Hygiene Standards: Maintain personal health, hygiene, and professional appearance at all times.

• Communication: Respond promptly to management requests and take necessary actions as required.

• Morale & Motivation: Maintain a high level of staff morale and motivation through effective communication and leadership.

Skills and Competencies:

• Supervisory Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar environment.

• Health & Safety Expertise: Experience in managing health, hospitality, and safety standards.

• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure quality control and compliance with cleaning standards.

• Sense of Urgency: Strong sense of urgency to handle tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

• Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.

• Independence: Capable of working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.

• Flexible Schedule: Able to work long hours, after hours, and weekends as required.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Matric/Grade 12.

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are highly advantageous.
