Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:

Prospect for potential new clients and convert these opportunities into increased business.

Cold call within your market or geographic area to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.

Cultivate relationships with new clients, leveraging your network to grow business opportunities.

Identify and approach decision-makers within potential client organizations.

Attend industry events, such as associations and conferences, to stay updated on market trends and network with potential clients.
Business Development Planning:

Present and consult with mid- and senior-level management on market trends, aiming to develop new services, products, and distribution channels.

Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will increase sales.

Utilize knowledge of competitors and the market to develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Management and Research:

Submit weekly progress reports, ensuring data accuracy.

Manage and maintain accurate data in the company’s CRM or other sales management systems.

Forecast sales targets and ensure the team meets these goals.

Collaborate with marketing staff to fulfill prerequisites, such as vendor prequalification and timely contract submissions.

Track activity on accounts, providing support to close deals and meet sales targets.
Client Retention:

Present new products and services to existing clients, enhancing and strengthening relationships.

Work with internal technical staff and other colleagues to address customer needs.

Organize and participate in internal and external client debriefs to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Team Leadership:

Ensure all team members represent the company in the best possible light.

Provide business development training and mentoring to team members and other internal staff.
