✨ About the Role
We are seeking skilled and passionate Production Chefs to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. As part of the Fedics brand under the B&I division, you'll play a key role in crafting high-quality meals while leading kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities

Review and cost recipes to ensure menu pricing is profitable.

Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished dishes to maintain high standards.

Manage incoming stock for quantity and freshness.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan creative and seasonal menus.

Demonstrate new culinary techniques and kitchen tools to staff.

Oversee food presentation and create attractive serving displays.

Plan daily prep schedules and allocate duties to meet deadlines.

Supervise multiple food production units with a hands-on approach.

Ensure strict hygiene and safety standards are followed at all times.

Introduce food trends and cost-saving practices without compromising quality.

Train chefs and cooks directly to improve overall kitchen performance.

Perform other relevant duties as required by management.
