This opportunity forms part of the Presidential Stimulus Employment Initiative and is designed to empower youth, women, and people with disabilities through short-term employment and skills development.

📋 Job Overview

  • Position: EPWP Tractor Driver (Fixed-Term Contract)

  • Number of Posts: 38

  • Duration: 6 months

  • Salary: R1,900 per day

  • Location: Multiple districts across Limpopo (Capricorn, Sekhukhune, Mopani, Waterberg, Vhembe)

✅ Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 10 or equivalent qualification (as recognized by SAQA)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in driving or operating agricultural machinery

  • Valid Code 10 (ECI) driver’s license (not required for people with disabilities)

  • Shortlisted applicants will be tested on practical tractor operation

🔧 Key Duties

  • Operate tractors and implements (plough, disc harrow, planter, sprayer, etc.)

  • Assist with land cultivation, planting, spraying, harvesting, and fertilizer application

  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tractors and implements

  • Maintain accurate tractor logbooks and report faults

  • Help with fueling and oiling processes

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
